La Asociación de Historia Oral de la República Argentina -AHORA-; el Instituto de Investigaciones Históricas y Sociales y la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia, invitan a participar del XIII Encuentro Nacional y VII Congreso Internacional de Historia Oral “HISTORIA y MEMORIAS: ¿HACIA UNA PLURALIDAD DE VOCES?”, que se llevará a cabo los días 10, 11 y 12 de octubre de 2018 en la Ciudad de Trelew, provincia de Chubut.
El encuentro coincidirá con el 46 aniversario de la histórica pueblada realizada en los días de octubre de 1972 por el pueblo de Trelew, conquistando la libertad de los militantes populares, habitantes de la región, que habían sido detenidos por la dictadura militar que por entonces asolaba nuestro país.
Se cumplirá además el catorceavo aniversario de AHORA, consolidando su inserción en diversas regiones del país, siendo esta la primera oportunidad en que dicho evento de carácter internacional se realice en la Patagonia.
El encuentro de Historia Oral nacional e internacional a realizarse en Trelew pretende constituirse en un momento y ámbito oportuno para revisar la importancia social de la Historia Oral y reunir a todos aquellos que, empleando fuentes orales, interpelan al pasado, el presente y el futuro, desde diversas disciplinas, saberes y enfoques.
El encuentro tiene como principal objetivo continuar con los debates y discusiones historiográficas sobre el uso de las fuentes orales en la construcción de la memoria y la historia reciente. En este sentido, el encuentro tiene como objetivos principales:
ampliar y profundizar el intercambio de conocimientos actualizados sobre cuestiones teóricas y metodológicas entre profesionales, investigadores, académicos, docentes, alumnos, agentes culturales del área pública y privada e interesados en la temática en general a nivel nacional e internacional; muy especialmente de Latinoamérica.
reflexionar y debatir sobre puntos de contacto y diferencias en torno a la pluralidad de enfoques y sobre los principales desafíos del trabajo interdisciplinar.
reconocer el modo en que nuestros saberes y posicionamientos impactan en la producción del trabajo científico, la implementación de experiencias pedagógicas, el desarrollo de proyectos socio comunitarios y en las formas de interpretar y actuar sobre el patrimonio cultural tangible e intangible. Las actividades estarán divididas en Mesas de Trabajo, Mesas Paneles y Conferencias Centrales, a las que se sumarán talleres de formación en distintas áreas dentro del campo de la historia oral.

The Oral History Association of the Argentine Republic (AHORA); the Institute of Historical and Social Investigations and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the National University of the Patagonia, invite you to the 13th National Encounter and 7th Oral History International Congress “History and memories: Towards a plurality of voices?”, which will take place on October 10, 11 and 12, 2018, in the city of Trelew, province of Chubut.
The encounter will take place on the 46th anniversary of the historical riots that took place in October 1972, led by the people of Trelew who wanted to release popular activists, citizens of the region, who had been arrested by the former military dictatorship.
Furthermore, AHORA will also celebrate its 14th anniversary. This will consolidate its insertion in different regions of the country, as it will be the first time an international event will take place in the Patagonia.
The National and International Oral History encounter intends to turn into a convenient moment and place to study the social importance of Oral History and gather all the experts who use oral resources to question the past, the present and the future, but from a different discipline, knowledge and approach.
Its main goal is to maintain history debates and discussions regarding the use of oral resources in the construction of recent history and memory. In this sense, the main objectives of the encounter are:
Expand and deepen a knowledge exchange, regarding theoretical and methodological issues between professionals, investigators, academics, professors, students, cultural agents of public and private areas, and those who are interested in the subject matter, national and internationally, specially, Latin-America.
Reflect and discuss about the similarities and differences regarding the plurality of approaches and the main challenges of an interdisciplinary job.
Recognize the way in which our knowledge and position impact on the production of a scientific piece of work, the implementation of pedagogical experiences, the development of socio-community projects, and the ways in which the tangible and intangible cultural heritage can be interpreted. The activities will be divided in Working Sessions, Panel Tables and Central Conferences, and there will also be a number of workshops related to oral history.
