Tribute: Julio Cortázar, 25 years after his death
The great Argentinean writer passed away on February 12th, 1984, in Paris (France). 25 years later, we remember him though a recording from 1982 —in which he reflects on writers, words and commitment with reality— that was broadcasted the day he died by ATC (now Canal 7) in the TV program “Doble Click” conducted by Quique Pessoa.
At the Virtual Audiovisual Archive you can also enjoy a fragment of the long interview done by TVE (Televisión Española, 1977), in which Cortázar reveals details on the creative process of his tales and his writing habits, and delight yourself listening to his voice narrating “Viajes”, a fragment of his book “Historias de Cronopios y de Famas”.
